New wildlife ๐ŸŸ

Fast approaching 10 years in my career at sea, I’ve seen a fair bit of sea life in that time! Plenty that has taken my breath away that’s for sure! But today I saw something I’ve never seen before and it really ignited in me a rejuvenation for my love of sea life!

I’ve seen roughly one million dolphins, no exaggeration, they are a common occurrence but still one I enjoy seeing them nonetheless. At about 1300 today I saw some splashing in the water, grabbed the binoculars expecting to see dolphins and be mildly amused but no what I saw has burned an image into my mind forever, like the time I saw a manta ray!

Jumping easily 5-6 feet in the air and fighting ferociously with each other, I gasped in amazement at something that is probably common place for some folk but still… wow! I’ll never forget when I saw my first wild SWORDFISH’!!!!

Africa don’t make me fall for you, I’m not scheduled to come back for awhile!
